Ambisonics Talk at Georgia Southern

Earlier in the semester I was contacted by Dr. John Thompson, who runs the Music Technology program at Georgia Southern University and invited to give a presentation as a part of their guest lecture series. If you’ve peeked at my About Me page, you’ll know that I am an alumnus of the program. It was exciting to be able to go back and get to present to the current graduate students there. My time as a student at GS has been one of the highlights of my academic career, and I cannot speak highly enough of John Thompson and his program.

My presentation, given earlier today, was on ambisonic sound spatialization, and you can view it on the Georgia Southern Music Department Facebook page.

You can find the slides (with a couple of minor corrections) from my presentation here, and here you can find some slides from another presentation I gave to the Ball State Student AES chapter a few years ago (covering some different aspects of ambisonics).
